I couldn't have written 25% of this without the help of Wikipedia and I do this for a portion of my living.

Is it impressive or disturbing that I wrote it without any help from Wiki?

I only went back later to add the links haha

Just reading an article in NY Mag and a paragraph stuck out for me:

"Taken at its word, the rest of the story (which unfolds six years later) is set in 2024 but opens with Deadpool desecrating Wolverine’s shallow grave from the end of Logan. Wolverine’s corpse has since decomposed, leaving only his adamantium skeleton, so it has been at least a few weeks, if not a few years, since the end of that film. However, Logan is, according to its dialogue, very explicitly set in a dystopian 2029. What gives?"

Its a good question!

My geeky head canon is that the TVA can enter a timeline at any point and chose 2024 to grab Deadpool for some reason (he was less attached to his friends/family, for example). Deadpool goes to 2029 later to check because he knows about the healing factor and thinks Wolverine might be alive. Since Wolverine is still alive in Deadpools universe in 2024, and he knows that version is dead in 2029, he is finding someone to take over from 2029 onward; the yellow outfit Wolverine at the end of the film is one of two Wolverines in Earth 10005 for the next five years.

The other thing I would say - especially as a Deadpool comics fan - is that this kind of nonsense setup is exactly the kind of nonsense setup that makes the comics so entertaining. I mean, one of my favourite runs on Deadpool has him killing zombie US presidents so, you know, *shrug*. Another great Deadpool run has him killing the Marvel universe, which I initially thought would have been a great concept for this film.
